Router Inlay Class March 26th

Join us in a one-day class where you learn how to perform basic inlay techniques using a router and exacto knives.  There will be four designs to choose from including a leaf, an apple, and a few surprises.  Depending on your skill level and time management you will complete one or maybe all four designs.  Plan on bringing a piece of wood (optional) that you can use on a future project, such as box lid, table top, or a case side.  It will be FUN and LOUD!

Class size:  10 people max. (plus 2 instructors)
Cost:  $40/person (lunch included)

Tool list participants should bring if they have them, if not we will share:

  • Plunge router
  • Coping saw
  • Route bit:  1/8 and 1/16 straight flute router bit with ¼ inch shank
  • Exacto knives
  • Hearing protection
  • Eye protection
  • Magnifying headset
  • Mallet
  • Pencil with eraser
  • Extension cord
  • Board for the inlay project (optional)
